Jobs
We are a small team of design engineers, tooling specialists and machine builders in the Stubai Valley. Whoever joins us does not work on a fragment but accompanies components along the entire path — more demanding than a specialist role in a large company, and the reason people stay a long time. And outside work, everyone at TBM trains free of charge at the premium gym STUDIØ3 in Neustift/Kampl.
Product engineer — design
You will design components that go into series production — from the first concept to the measured sampling part. Here a design does not stay on screen: you see how your decisions play out in the tool and in assembly, because tool design and machine building sit in the same house.
- Location
- Fulpmes, Stubai Valley (Tyrol)
- Type
- Full time, 40 hours — part time from 30 hours possible
- Start
- By arrangement
- Area
- Product development
Your tasks
- Develop and technically assess concept variants
- Detailed design of plastic and metal parts in NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks or Solid Edge
- Design for manufacture and tooling: wall thicknesses, demoulding, tolerance chains
- FEA to validate loaded components
- Support prototyping and feed results back into the design
- Coordinate with clients, toolmakers and suppliers
What you bring
- Completed technical education: HTL, university of applied sciences or technical university in mechanical engineering, plastics technology or product development
- Confident with a 3D CAD system — which one is secondary
- Interest in manufacturing processes, particularly injection moulding
- Diligence and the willingness to question a solution even when it almost fits
- Fluent German, good written and spoken English
- Graduates are welcome — training happens within projects
What we offer
- Projects that stay in your hands from the first line to series release
- A small team without departmental boundaries — short paths to tooling and machine building
- Modern CAD and simulation environment across 25 workstations
- Training in processes and software, in projects and externally
- Flexitime and the option to adapt working hours to life stages
- Free membership at the premium gym STUDIØ3 in Neustift/Kampl
- Workplace in the Stubai Valley, 20 minutes from Innsbruck

Application
A CV and two sentences about what you last worked on are enough. We do not need a cover letter. We reply within a week.

If you would like to work with us anyway, just get in touch. We look at every application, even without an open position — roles here often emerge with a project, and then we turn first to people who have already written to us. Tell us briefly what you can do and what interests you. We look forward to hearing from you.
